This website was designed to help you make your decision in the EU referendum based on principles rather than to explore in detail the possible consequences of remaining or leaving. Now the referendum is over it seeks to refute the belief of these people groups: the well educated, the young, the wealthy and the faith communities, that to vote leave was a far right, prejudiced, selfish, divisive and racist vote.
These people groups have been led to believe that these other people groups: the poor, the less educated and the elderly have voted Leave out of reasons related to racism, ignorance and feeling hard done by. By and large the wealthy, the well educated, the young and the faith communities wanted to distance themselves from these attitudes along with an understandable fear of crippling the economy and thus voted to Remain; hence the nation was divided.
In reality the Leave outcome is the right, unifying and just outcome with a central political position. A Remain outcome would have been far-right and would have continued to perpetuate global injustice, division and discrimination.
I don't believe that the much of the wealthy and more educated fully realise this yet but this needs to be exposed now, particularly so the young can understand the older generation saved them from the consequences of staying in such an organisation.
I believe there is a strong possibility that the rich, the academia and the elite who gain most from EU funding have stirred up the immigration and financial agendas for their own interests. Although there are many decent leaders and workers in the EU, I believe, at the core, it to be self-serving, unjust, undemocratic, unaccountable, anti-humanitarian towards refugees at its borders and disenfranchises the poor globally.
I believe that it is vital that everyone knows the truth behind the confusion and we unite together to stand against the crippling far right global agenda of the EU.
I, along with my husband, have explored these themes in more detail on this website. Please do explore each page for your interest.
